The Veterinary Center Vet Medica – Milathianaki K & M, in Heraklion, Crete, is a model fully equipped and technologically advanced veterinary unit, surrounded by scientifically qualified veterinarians, who approach our small patients with love and sensitivity.
Our Services
The Vet Medica Veterinary Center has short-term hospitalization, intensive care, oxygen therapy positions, as well as a special incubator.
In addition, the clinic has a special cardiology department that includes taking an electrocardiogram, blood pressure measurement (HDO) and focused echocardiography.
Veterinary Center
The Veterinary Center provides general veterinary services (vaccines, passports, microchip, etc.), pathology department, dental department, ophthalmology department, microbiological laboratory (haematological, biochemical, urological, hormonal tests, blood coagulation indicators, cardiac indicators).
Full care team
The Vet Medica team consists of: 8 veterinarians, 4 auxiliary staff and 3 groomers, who, with love and sensitivity, provide the best care to our beloved pets.
Operations – Equipment
In the clinic, routine operations (orchiectomies, oophorectomies), specialized orthopedic surgeries (bone fractures, sacrum tears, external osteosyntheses, etc.) are performed, as well as soft tissue operations (gastrotomies, enterotomies, mastectomies, etc.).
The imaging department has digital radiography (DR with integrated self-diagnosis system), focused ultrasound (head, chest, heart, abdomen), as well as a variety of endoscopes (rhinoscopy, bronchoscopy, gastroscopy, colonoscopy, cystoscopy).
First Aid Unit
In addition, it provides a mobile unit (ambulance) to offer immediate assistance and home care.
